The parents know...

And it has gotten out a couple of places... I'm letting it slip here to you -- my internet friends and confidants... BUT I'm not necessarily going to be shouting the news out there to the world quite yet. It's early you see, and I'm a bit nervous about it this time. Last time I was nervous, but I don't remember being this bad. I've wrestled with whether or not to tell you guys, but then decided that if something does go wrong, I'm going to need some sort of outlet. So... Aw, I can't tell you. Little Monster can instead:

Shirt reads: I'm gonna be a big brother.

I'm not very far along. I guess I can put one of those crazy tickers up somewhere. We found out the day we left San Diego for home. I'm still in a little bit of shock and denial. I'm still terrified it won't turn out okay. But I'm praying. Constantly praying that it will. Not the Momma -- He'll kill me if I write what I want to. Let's just say I'm pretty sure he's happy about it.

My birthday was great. (It was yesterday.) We went to my two favorite restaurants, drove along the beach, and I got to take a much needed nap. Not the Momma has ordered a new mattress for us -- to improve our slumber -- and I cannot wait. He's also refinishing a bed frame we bought second had some time ago. It's been in our guest room until recently. AND he got me the Planet Earth Series on Blu-Ray. I. LOVE. that documentary! Mostly because I watched "the making of." Knowing all of the work that went into the show really increases the appreciation you have for the footage that they got.

I think it's time for me to go. That morning sickness. It showing up at night this time around. I'm sure I'll be around more often. I'll have lots of whining about all of the nasty things that happen to a person when they are growing another one.

Congrats Mary!!! I wish the best for your family! I hope the sickness doesn't get you too badly. (I had hypermesis for 17 weeks in the beginning and 4 weeks near the end).

To me, going from zero to one child was much easier than the transition from one child to two. It's a challenge but it's great!

Again, Congrats!!!

Congrats Mary!! I am so excited for you! Sorry about the sickness :( I will have to agree with Misty. There is a huge difference going from one child to two children but you will absolutely LOVE it. It is so much fun and it is truly special to watch Chloe and Cayla play and interact with one another. I love it! I will soon find out how life changes drastically going from two children to THREE children..aaahhhh!!! 9 more weeks :)

Just keep praying Mary...things will be fine. And hey - as much as morning sickness sucks, it's a relief too...that means things are going well for that peanut! So excited for you and that you and the hubs get the share the experience this time around. So...did the parents freak?

Congrats, Mary! I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers. Morning sickness is a lot tougher when there's a toddler running around, so I'll pray that you're not afflicted with it for too long. Like Misty said, it's a challenge, but there's nothing in the world like snuggling two little ones on your lap, reading a story, and watching the older "baby" reach over and grab the little baby's hand. You'll love it.

Hooray!!!!! I am super excited for you and NTM and LM!!!! I will be praying that all goes well for you. Morning sickness is good news, right? Isn't there some old wives tale (or truth, I don't know) that morning sickness is a sign that the baby is doing well?

Anyway, congrats to you and your family. The shirt is really cute!
